On October 15, 2016, Rob was awarded the Song of the Year for his single, Unwind, co-written with Mark Barnowski by the Tennessee Songwriter's Association International. Carnegie was also nominated for Male Songwriter of the Year and Co-Writer of the Year.

In the spring of 2014, Carnegie released his sixth single, Unwind, to country radio. Produced by John Willis, (Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Luke Bryan, Taylor Swift, Florida Georgia Line, Leanne Rimes, Craig Morgan, Toby Keith, Alabama, Jewel) Unwind is now available at iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and many other online stores. Rob has played the Boots and Hearts Music Festival in Bowmanville, ON and opened up for renowned country artist, Kix Brooks (Brooks and Dunn/American Country Countdown). Adding to his list of credits, Carnegie played the Bills in Toronto Tailgate Party in downtown Toronto, ON where the Buffalo Bills faced the Atlanta Falcons and he also played at the legendary Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN.
